Im improving and heading forward in my quest of 1st yr apprentice cook, I have an TAFE introduction day soon and then I start TAFE in late June. It shall be exciting. Had an easy day at work today as I have checked all the salads and organised myself proparly in the mornings and set up and there seems to be no complaints about me which is even better. Brang a notebook into work today and wrote down recipes that arnt there, isnt my workplace organised with there cooking they have not a lot of standard recipes to use.
2 work expenience people came in last week and I think both of them are going to become apprentice cooks as well, hmm 4 1st year cooking apprentices that will be interesting for the chef in the kitchen.
Looking forward to my 2 days off work my agenda for those days are driving,cleaning my cupboard instructed by my mother to do and clean the oven as mothers back cant deal with cleaning it and of course the most important sleep,sleep and more sleep.

Had my first driving lesson with an instructor today and it was better than I thought, I went down non-busy car streets and drove a bit and went to the practise driving area, I forgot where it is again. I was heaps nervous before it but as soon as I drove more I feel fine driving anywhere,well at least not on Major roads and freeways just as yet. Go with dad to practise my driving more until I get another lesson with the driving instructor.
Went to town yesterday and got a few things that included hairdye and a new knife case for work, the knife roll annoyed me and the knives were hard to get out without cutting yourself.lol. So now I hav a spiffy knife case I can take to work and TAFE when I go, now I just need to be an up herself chef now to match the knife case. :-)

Sorry about my post before, I am tired and the whole formal thing has stressed me out so in the end I felt a bit blue, I think the tiredness from early work starts has done it to me over the past week.
So dont stress Lala is now feeling better after a bit of music and calming down from stress.

Havnt had much happen to me latley except work of course. The only thing interesting was my parents bollywood anniversary party, that was fun I got to wear an sari and dress up and my parents even bought me some alcohol, I oayed for it to share with my friend Hilary that came with her mum as well.I was in charge of the food that night, all i really had to do was heat the food up,cook rice and serve entrees that I bacially just had to fry off in the deep fryer.
A bollywood dancer even came along to dance, this was organised by one of my mum and dads longest friends as an present. She was heaps good, she danced with a sword on her head and spun around with it as well. The woman even got my dad up dancing with her and my mum to have a go at it. LOL It was sooo funny!.
I ended up drinking around 2 Vodka Cruisers that night and by the time I finished them I began I get a bit drunk as I was laughing a little too much all the time and started to get an headache. I ended up going to bed at 10:00 as I had to start work the next day early in the morning, so I went to bed and accutally got to sleep with a bit of noise comming fron the party outside.

Well another week of work has passed and it has tired me out a bit Im looking forward to a long sleep in tommorrow. Also during my 2 days off Im going to look at a car to go with my learners licence, dads car is too nice for me to crash plus his insurance dosnt cover me if something happens to it. So im probably going to see the car and dads going to test drive it for me as I havnt had a driving lesson yet, I should get around to doing that.
Also some time I need to look for a formal dress otherwise ill leave it too late and get stressed and want find the one dress I want.Any ideas what I should get?. and Jenn who is goin to take me if Sofie cant as the rule Herbert put in as Belinda told me.

Went into town today to get my driving Learners permit. I did the theory test and guess what I passed!. I now offically have my driving leaners permit, the card dosnt come in for another week but who cares!.
Mum and dad now need to buy me a car, as the family car is to nice for me to drive in.My parents had an ideathat they will pay the car and ill pay them a weekly amount for the car each week until I pay back the full amount of the car to them, I think this is a good idea and it works better for me as I havnt been working long to afford a good used car.
After getting my Learners I went to buy some clothes for myself and use the voucher the aunt and uncle gave my for Christmas, I ended up buying a new top and some winter pajamas with cookie monster on them, I couldnt restist them, I LOVE COOKIE MONSTER! he's my favorite character in seseme street.

Well Ive spent a few days now at the new place Im working at and so for its been good.The chef, other apprentices and waiters there are nice and friendly to me.They let me do some chopping and preperation of foods they have, its heaps good as the last place I worked at I didnt let medo any of that type of thing. Ive just started to do things that need to be done automtically,well the things I know how to do anyways. I feel so at happy in this place lets hope I dont move quickly like I did before.

Found out that I start work at the new place on Wednesday.Unforchantly the new place comes at a price during a few days im working Im starting at 6 am, now I tell you that sucks!! I think ill steal some coffee that they have that I can have and drink lots of that to wake me up.
During my week of not working Ive been doing my latch hook rug which I have about half done.Bought some new sandshoes as the other ones fell apart and gave me a huge blister and to show that Im compleatly bored I made a new myspace profile and changed a few things on it.

I had another day without work, I found it a good day to go into town and get my hair cut and coloured. Ive never had my hair coloured at an salon before and I must say I should do it more often.
I got an dark mahogany colour put in my hair and got an side fringe, I made sure that it wasnt in an emo style though.lol.
Unforchantly my hair took longer to do so I couldnt go to my old high school to catch up with everyone I knew there as an suprise.But Ill do that tommorrow as I dont think ill be working again.

One point that Ive made this week is that I spent so much money this week my haircut and the stuff I bought with Charlotte, Geeze if I continue I think Ill become an shopoholic like my mum.lol.

Well I went to my apprentiship trial on Saturday and guess what I got the job.woohoo!. The people I work with seem ok, unforchantly they are all guys and Im the only chick there. I was very quiet when I was there and not much talk, but that happens, it did when I worked at the other place I was before. They let me do some chopping and do the garnishes for the plates not a lot but a good start, hey at least I wasnt doing any dishes. I find out my times on Monday when my appprentiship company rings me.

Today I went out with Charlotte in town to catch up, we looked in lots of shops and I bought some new tops on sale, vegie peelers for work purposes and a box to put some creative stuff I have lying around in my wardrobe at the moment. I had a good time and Charlotte gave me an scrap book with the help of sophie that had photos of our whole group in it. It was so cool and nice, Im going to keep that book till the end of time to treasure.We also ventured into the museum and stared at the stuffed animals and laughed at a stuffed monkey that had a mohawk hair.Lol.

Had my cousins birthday today.The whole family was there to celebrate it,except my grandmar who claimed to be sick.Spent most of my time with my littlest cousin, Omg! he was so cute.When the cake came out he wanted to eat it and when the candles were blown out immediatly he said "cakey", so wanted to say awwwww at that moment.
Usually I find myself bored at family events but my mum let me have some red wine,which I liked as it didnt have an long alcoholic taste afterwards I could only drink 1/2 a glass. SO excited that I drank some alcohol at an famly event something that dosnt happen much to me.

I feel so annoyed at the moment. My apprentiship place at the moment wants to get rid of me, the head chef said that Im moving to another place as Im not suited to that type of busy enviroment, more likly they wanted to use me over the busy christmas break *groans*.Luckly I am with my apprentiship company so they organised another place I could do my apprentiship at, still need to do an interview with them. Ill stay at my apprentiship place where I am for the moment until I find another one to go to. Lets hope another this new one will be better fo the long term I hope.

Once again I had anther busy week at work and have been tired some days as of my shift times. My bad shift times were that I did night shift that ends at 12:00 oclock then have my day start the next day at 9:00 o clock.*Grr*.
Looking forward to the weekend where Im doing my latch hook rug and getting some new clothes with the money Ive earned from working,its nice earning your own money and spend it on something that you need.:-).
Hope my shifts are better next week, Ill find out when I ring this weekend I forgot to check my shifts next week whoops!.lol.

Sorry that I havnt written in my journal for a while Ive been working constantly all week around 9 hr day Monday to Friday and I gots night shifts which end at 11 o'clock and the biggest bitch last night I finished working at 12:00 o'clock.
Other than working I havnt been doing much else this week and now im looking forward to a lazy weekend where I can relax and maybe get some new tops and jeans of I feel like it and do some knitting.

Well I feel so much better now with the whole tummy issue, I think it was just something I ate. So now Im going back to work and Im doing closing shift tonight *groans* It going to be a long night since its new years eve and its going to be busy at Glenelg.But I dont mind extra hours tonight count for time and a half which kinda means more money I suppose.
Went shopping yesterday with em and we had lots of fun trying on shoes and clothes, I bought some new summer pjs as I needed some, I really wanted to show her the dress I liked the one that I aw with Sarah but they ran out of them all and the only ones left were not my size. But oh well wasnt going to get it anyways dont know wether im working or not on formal night not a good idea for me to buy a $150 dress if im not sure wether Im going to wear it.lol.

Fell ill this morning and I couldnt go to work. I had tummy pains and went to the toilet all the time I wents 7 times i think, but you didnt need to know that!. I thought that I would be ok for working but when at the tram stop going to work I had a tummy pain so then I thought this isnt a good thing to take to work.So my lovely dad took me home and then I slept all day and called work at my starting shift time to say I was sick, really should of called them earlier.
Later in the day I went to the doctor, not the normal one I goes to. The one I went to didnt really have a good doctor, she tried to be friendly but it was so hard to understand her indian accent.She checked me out and said if I have issues with the toilet again to get some medication for it. The main thing is that I got my medical certificate so I have proof that I was sick and not taking a sickie day as I think work thinks ive done.
I feel all better at the moment as I havnt eaten anything all day but Ill try some plain food, like toast tommorrow and see how I go.

Well my day of christmas was full of working,food and lots of family.
Worked this morning mostly doing chores that wouldnt do normally such as cleaning the bottom of the serving area and polishing the crome in the area such as the doors and around the stove areas at the front.
When dad picked me up to take me home I had to get ready for family comming over at around lunch time.Family was ok, they gave me money and itunes vouchers, good timing as I need some more music on my ipod. Got an good amount of money too, nearly enough I could buy some new clothes with it, but im going to try not to spend it all as want to save it.
After the whole day I stuffed my face with food and tired of family around me Im finally winding down and writing in my livejournal and listening to some music I might want to buy with my new itune vouchers.

Another week done and its quickly passed. Spent all day at work and am looking forward to a weekend of sleeping in and buying some knives that I need for TAFE at an discount sale at an cooking place. Found out today also that I have boxing day off, another day to sleep in woohoo!.
Im also getting into the christmas spirit by watching a christmas movie on tv its a bit like the story of scrooge and the three spirits that visit him.

ohh that reminds me, Merry Christmas to you all I tell you this now as I might be too busy to write in my livejournal christmas day.

OMG when I gots home from work I got something from concdia college my old high school, they gave me a certificate for a lifetime membership for old collegians association, and did I mention that I also got a badge that says old collegian with it too. Couldnt stop laughing when I got it.
Other than the old collegains certificate I got today work was a boring, but it wasnt as bad as yesterday when I had to do all the pots and pans I did most of the dishwashing today which is kinda easier.
Also in the next few days Ill recieve my first payment from working, a sign that I am part of the grown up world *sigh*.

Finished work a little while ago. I got a weird question asked to me when I was working it was are you on drugs?. I realise I was wearing one glove on my hand to pick up the cutlery in the tub,it was suggested by a woman who I work with in the afternoon with and I though Ill try it.Apart from the whole weird question I had a pretty boring and fustrating day. I had the job of cleaning all the pots and pans that the food is stored in at the front with added dishes in the kitchen as well, I think the dishes multiplied everytime I looked over at them. I was so behind in them that another person had to help me organise the dishes that needed to be soaked and ones that didnt need soaking, so that it made is easier for me. So embarassing! it was also the person helping me sort out the dishes was the guy I have a bit of a crush at work atm!even more embarrasing.
I also figured out today that I like working in the afternoon than night time, the guys who I work at night time shift I dont think like me very much and my unique perosnality and see me as invisable while working and dont talk to me much.But I dont seem to care I dont like them much either.lol.

Goal I have this week for work is to save enough money for that red dress I would like that I saw with Sarah on the weekend.
